Ceiling mural in ship's hold
The mural covers the entire ceiling in the hold. The design was inspired by William Morris, tying in with the age of the ship. -
Ceiling mural floral decoration
When designing the stencil, I chose the Honeysuckle flower in various stages of opening to add variety and interest to the design. -
Flying Albatross
I painted an Albatross in flight surrounded by a honeysuckle vine. -
Floral corner ceiling mural
The fiery-ochres and emerald greens tie in with the existing colours of the woodwork, upholstery and walls. -
Gull painted on ceiling
A hand-painted Black-Headed Gull circles overhead in the blue, colourwashed sky. -
Ceiling mural side section
The Honeysuckle vine, with its flowers and leaves, curls and twists, softening the edges of the ceiling. -
Ceiling mural panels
The floral vine weaves along the woodwork, breaking up the expanse of blue sky, softening the hard corners of the room.
