Pressing & Removing The Print

The inked block now gets placed & centred onto a board for printing. The piece of paper to be printed on is then aligned on top of the block. These are then placed in my corkscrew cast iron printing press where I tighten the handle as much as I can. I can now remove the block and paper from the press, then carefully peel back the paper to reveal the fresh print.
