Wells Field Studies Centre

I was commissioned to do a variety of artwork on the themes of the water cycle and climate change for a local field study centre which gave residential educational holidays for children.

The first of these commissions was to provide two murals on the theme of the water cycle. Each of these were displayed in the children’s bathrooms where the water cycle was particularly relevant.

The second commission was for educational signage planted within the centre’s garden. These consisted of large painted artwork and each had a few sentences describing the plants in that area of the garden. This text also contained many small illustrative icons that I also painted for the project.
